How matching works
Workers aren't listed for you to pick from. Here is how Buildpal decides who is offered your work, and why it stays fair on both sides.
Matching takes your booking and works out who should be offered it. It happens in a fixed order, the same way for every booking.
Eligibility is a hard gate
Only workers who meet every requirement are considered: verified identity, the trade and any certification it needs, experience, permission to work, distance to the site, a rate that fits and free days. Anyone blocked on either side is left out.
Everyone eligible is ranked
Eligible workers are put in order. Reliability, the quality of past work and attendance all count. Work is spread across the pool instead of going to the same early names, and past work with you helps a little, never a lot.
Offers go out in order
Workers are offered the work in that order, each with a fair window to accept. The window is long enough for someone busy on another site to see it.
The standby list fills gaps
Workers ranked after those who accepted form a standby list. If someone declines or can't come, the next one can be offered the place.
Real changes are asked again
If you change the dates or the rate after workers accept, they are asked again. Nobody arrives to a different job from the one they agreed to.
